We are so excited to bring you our all new, "Cinco de Moab - Island in the Sky 2019 Spring Rendezvous in the Desert right near the beautiful Canyonlands National Park. This annual lady adventure is held every spring in one of the most unique and beautiful destinations on earth -Moab, Utah. 3 Days - 2 Nights | 20+ Activities | 1 Location

What To Expect?

Once you arrive at "Camp Rendezvous" you will first check in with our amazing crew. After setting up your camp we will meet with you again as a group to make sure everyone understands the schedule. We will be having round the clock time slots for many of the most popular activities, allowing everyone to get out and after what they are looking forward to most.

We will be exploring Canyonlands National Park via shuttle vans all weekend to make sure we eliminate our carbon footprint with our vehicles. We encourage car pool and hope that each participant will join the fun in participating in the carpool vehicles that come to our event. Many participants join solo and meet a group of new friends en route to the Rendezvous!!

You will be sent a link with all of the details and information you will need to prepare yourself for an adventure filled weekend. 

RvR 2 RvR will be offering upgrade and add-on specials that will be offered soon.

* Participants will now have the option in purchasing an open water SUP clinic on the Colorado River through RvR 2 RvR if this is something you would like to try, please look for details in the Closed Facebook group specific to Rendezvous Participants only. You will be added to this group after ticket purchase. Details below*

Climbing (Bouldering)

As one of the definite highlights during our Rendezvous in Moab, Bouldering is back at Big Bend! If you are new to climbing, Bouldering is pure Rock Climbing stripped down to its raw essentials. Leaving behind ropes and harnesses and just using climbing shoes and a bag of chalk. Climbers move over safety mats called crash pads and use spotters for safety. The challenge is to climb short but tricky Boulder "problems" (a route, or sequence of moves) using balance, technique, strength, and your brain.

You don't need experience or an expensive kit to really enjoy bouldering, just a pair of climbing shoes. This makes it really easy to get into if you've never tried it before. We will supply the spotters. haha

The climbs are high enough to be exciting, but not so high that they're hugely intimidating. Using crash pads means that the risks of falling off can be managed, and leaving the ropes behind means that you are free to concentrate on the climbing, not the equipment. It's just you, the wall, and your friends on the ground giving you all the encouragement you will need.

We will be Bouldering Friday and Saturday and helping ladies become familiar with climbing outside. Please bring your crash pad and climbing shoes if you have them!

Repelling & Top Rope

We are adding some fun and new activities this year. If you have always wanted to know what it was like to wear a harness and climb some serious feet, we will be teaching you how to repel and Top Rope! 

Yoga

Every morning we will start the day with a yoga flow for those who wish to participate. Please bring your own mat :) Our Yogi's are well trained and certified for instructing both relaxing & heart pumping flows. With the backdrop we have greeting us at Camp Rendezvous every morning, you may just find yourself in Savasana before the flow ever begins.

Hiking

No matter what time of year you decide to visit Moab, one thing is for sure, you can always go hiking on their hundreds of popular trails. We will be exploring Canyonlands National Park this year and experiencing all new trails. We enjoy taking big groups to arches, windows, open views, and hidden valleys. Experiencing Moab, with new friends will be magical for all. The ability level is for all active women, you will be glad you chose the hikes as they are always a first for someone!

Mountain Biking

Take advantage of multiple group rides that introduce you to slick rock(not slick lol) and the miles of beauty in this natural playground! We will have a cap of 15 riders per group ride for safety & quality reasons. Each morning ride will be focused on beginner-intermediate and each afternoon ride will be focused on intermediate-advance riding. You will need your own bike, helmet, water & flat repair kit with your correct tire size.

Friday Evening Fiesta

This evening we will be gathering together to celebrate in ASDT Cinco de Moab style, which basically means an excuse to have Food and a dance party!! We will be eating dinner at camp with a fun ASDT Welcome provided by the ASDT Ambassadors. After dinner, we will be making our way to the dance floor! Bring your best fiesta dancing apparel and be prepared for a an unforgettable evening!!

Saturday Evening Rendezvous..

After dinner, participants will join with special guest speakers around the fire, who will share stories of inspiration, victory, and challenges, Hear from the people behind ASDT and even share perhaps some yourself.

Lodging.

We are car camping! Feel free to sleep in your camper van, bring your tent or roll our a cot and sleep under the black sky with the milky way to put you to sleep. Yes, you heard that right! Under the stars, in a tent, with other incredible women who are looking for a re-charge weekend filled with unforgettable memories.

As you arrive Friday morning, we will have assigned ASDT Crew members waiting to assist and help you get settled in. If this is your first time camping, maybe not with your partner who normally sets up the gear, now is your chance to break out of your comfort zone and learn how to set up camp with the raddest ladies around!!

For your convenience we have partnered with TIA Outfitters, who offer rental kits for a car camping package. You will have your delivery charged waived and be able to attend worry free with your tent, sleeping bag, pad, cooler, stove, chair all waiting for you! This is an added charge with details sent after your ticket purchase.

We will have multiple showers, drinking water spigots for your use. We will have multiple portable potty's around camp to make it extra convenient for all participants. This is such a perfect place!

Carpool

When you purchase your Rendezvous ticket, you will have access to our private Rendezvous FB group page. Here you can ask any question, make a new friend, join the carpool feed which we highly encourage as we have very limited parking. We won't be having any solo drivers park their vehicles at camp. We are really enphasizing this year to eliminate our carbon footprint and encourage our participants to carpool with others. We will be shuttling to our activities so no need to have your car at camp. We have very limited parking.  

Refunds & Cancellations

Cancellations made before March 25th will receive a Full Refund.

Cancellations made March 25th- April 5th will receive Half Refund.

Cancellations made after April 5th or later will receive No Refund.

Weather and Illness is not accepted for a Refund. You may transfer tickets to a new participant, however, dietary restrictions might be limited in that short of time.
